PCCR

The Counselors will be meeting individually with all 9th graders and their parents between January 5th-30th. This is for our PCCR Meetings (Plan for College and Career Readiness). Possible topics of discussion could include the following:

 

4-year plan, including high school graduation requirements

  • You Science and your students strengths and career aptitudes
  • Scholarships and paying for college
  • Pathways to reach a current career interest
  • Registering for next year’s classes
  • Habits & skills that will prepare your student for success in a future career
  • This years schedule and current grades
  • Other (Mental health concerns, other school concerns, etc.)

 

Parents – please schedule a time for this PCCR Meeting with your student by doing the following:

1. Click on the PCCR Scheduling Link: canyoncreeksoftware.

2. Choose HILLCREST JR HIGH and click GO

3. The password is: hillcrest (all lower case)

4. Enter your student’s ID number or use the lookup feature to find your student’s ID number

5.  Follow the prompts to complete the scheduling

  • The online schedule will be available from now until January 22nd to schedule your individual appointments.  If you would prefer to meet over zoom or by phone, schedule an appointment in Canyon Creek and then reach out to your student’s counselor directly to make those arrangements.
  • Translation services for all languages can be provided, please let your counselor know if this is needed.
  • If you do not sign up for an appointment, the Counselors will still meet with your student to discuss this information. If you have any questions, please contact the Counseling Center at 801-264-7494, or your Counselor specifically
