Welcome to Utah Online Summer School High School Recovery Content (Credit) Program. We are excited to share the summer with you and work towards graduation. The summer Recovery Content courses (credit recovery courses) are in the online setting.
Important Information-

  1. All courses are online.
  2. Tuition of $50.00 must be paid before the summer session begins. The fee is $50.00 for the entire session and covers as many courses as a student can complete within the summer session.
  3. Students can work at their own pace, however courses must be completed by the end of the term.
  4. Students must maintain progress throughout the session in order to complete the course on time.
  5. Students who are traveling on vacation with their families, need to let Mrs. Lunceford know, in advance, to keep their online course active. If no activity is seen in the course, the course will be dropped.
  6. Students will need a computer and an internet browser that supports various plugins. UOS will provide support if needed.
  7. Students will need headsets to listen to direct instruction videos.
  8. It is helpful if students have a notebook and pencil/pen for note-taking in preparation for quizzes and tests.

Northridge Learning Center

Northridge Learning Center/Dorius Academy We provide accredited resources for non-traditional students seeking high school diploma course credits.

Important Information –

  1. Packet System – Limit 2 packets per student at a time.
  2. Packets cost $55 a piece (.25 credit, 1 quarter)
  3. Multiple Locations for packet pick up – Monday- Thursday 9am to 1pm.
  4. Can be purchased online for an additional processing fee and materials will be shipped to you. Expect 3-5 days for shipping.
  5. Allow 30 minutes for the final exam at one of their locations – Bring your competed workbooks and phot ID.

Utah Student Connect

A student may need to take a course over, maybe because they failed a course or didn’t finish the course the first time.  Credit recovery courses are $45 per quarter credit during the school year and during the summer.

Important Information –

  1. Credit recovery during school year OR summer – $46.50 per quarter credit
  2. To Register: See your school counselor.  Please be prepared to give them your school email address and your State Student ID (not your Student Number).
  3. The bulk of the courses offered through the program are designed to work with the traditional school quarter.
  4. A final proctored exam is issued at the end of each term for each course. Final testing will be held at the student’s school, or at the district offices.
